Dr. Anand Prakash Parikh is a young and dynamic Interventional Cardiologist, currently practising at Six Sigma Medicare & Research Nasik. He specialises in Radial Angiography, Angioplasties and Pacemaker Implantations.
Dr. Anand Parikh holds an MBBS from G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai (2003). In 2007 he obtained the MD (Internal Medicine) postgraduate degree from Government Medical College, Aurangabad and topped this up with a DNB (Cardiology) through Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai in 2010, after which he served at the same institution between 2010-2011 as Junior Consultant. He then worked as Consultant Cardiologist at Bankers Heart Institute (Baroda), Orange Hospital (Navsari), Global Hospitals (Hyderabad) and Asian Heart Institute (Mumbai).
Some of the Cardiac Interventional procedures that Dr. Parikh has a special interest in are: Left Main Stenting, LAD-D1 Bifurcation Stenting, CTO Opening using Tornus device and Rotablation; SVG Graft Stenting; Carotid Artery Stenting; Renal Artery Stenting; Renal Denervation; Peripheral Vessel Stenting; DDD Pacemaker Insertion; AICD Insertion; CRT; BMV; and, ASD and PDA Device Closure.
